1.1 What these terms cover. These are the terms and conditions upon which I supply services to you.
1.2 Why you should read them. Please read these terms carefully before you submit your order to me. These terms tell you who I am, how I will provide copywriting services to you, how you and I may change the contract, what to do if you have any questions and other important information.
2.1 Who I am. I am Sarah Zerkel of SarahZerkel.com.
2.2 How to contact me. You can contact me by writing to me at sz@sarahzerkel.com.
2.3 How I may contact you. If I have to contract you I will do so by telephone or by writing to you at the email address or postal address you provided to me in your order.
2.4 "Writing" includes emails. When we use the words "writing" or "written" in these terms, this includes emails.
3.1 How I will accept your order. My acceptance of your order will take place when you complete the online order form and make payment, at which point a contract will come into existence between you and me.
3.2 How I will deliver my services. I will deliver my copywriting services during your chosen appointment time and will send you a google document with your copy at the end of your appointment.
3.3 Copyright. All copyright in the copy I draft for you will be automatically assigned to you upon delivery of the above mentioned google document.
4.1 If you wish to make a change to the scheduled time for your copywriting appointment, please use the reschedule function on my online scheduler or contact me at sz@sarahzerkel.com and I will assist you with finding an alternative appointment time.
5.1 I reserve the right to re-schedule an appointment date or time and will notify you of the need to make such changes at least 48 hours before the date original appointment time.
6.1 Subject to clause 6.3, I operate a no refund policy. Once your copywriting services have been delivered I will not offer any refunds.
6.2 If you do not show up for your appointment or cancel your appointment less than 24 hours before the appointment time, your payment will not be refunded.
6.3 If you change your mind about my copywriting services before the delivery of the service you will not be eligible for a refund, unless another client books your appointment slot within 7 calendar days of you cancelling your order.
7.1 How to ask follow up questions. If you have any questions or complaints about the copy produced after we finish our appointment, please contact me. You can email me at sz@sarahzerkel.com and I will respond as soon as possible.
8.1 Where to find the price for my services. The price for the copywriting services is the price indicated next to each copywriting package on the order page when you place your order.
8.2 When you must pay and how you must pay. I accept payment via PayPal and all major credit or debit cards. All payments are to be made via my online scheduling software (acuity scheduling) when you place your order.
9.1 I am not liable for any business losses. I draft copy based on information provided by you. I will not be responsible for any business related losses or liabilities arising out of inaccuracies in the copy prepared for you.
10.1 How I may use your personal information. I will use the personal information you provide to me:
(a) to supply the copywriting services to you;
(b) to process your payment for the copywriting services; and
(c) if you agreed to this during the order process, to give you information about similar services that I provide, but you may stop receiving this at any time by contacting me.
10.2 We will only give your personal information to third parties where the law either requires me to do so.
11.1 Nobody else has any rights under this contract. This contract is between you and me. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms.
11.2 If a court finds part of this contract illegal, the rest will continue in force. Each of the paragraphs of these terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.
11.3 Which laws apply to this contract and where you may bring legal proceedings. These terms are governed by US law and you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in the US courts.
